The Coatings Research Institute was created in 1957 to stimulate scientific and technological development in the coatings industry.

For more than 40 years, has collaborated with industrial partners on an international level.

Basic and applied research on the diverse aspects of coatings science and technology is the driving force behind the development of which has also gained expertise in technical assistance, training, testing and analyses.

is active on an international level.  Its staff are regularly invited to present lectures at important international congresses and participate on the editorial board of several international journals.

  is the editor of CoRI info  which provides information on our essential activities.

is the editor for Europe, Middle East, India and Africa of the scientific journal "Progress in Organic Coatings". also contributes to the magazine "Protective Coatings Europe".

  also organizes with the French association AFTPVA, the "Forum de la Connaissance", a yearly symposium held in Paris where worldwide specialists debate essential topics of coatings technology and science.

In association with DMG world media, organizes the Middle East Coatings Conference in Dubaļ (United Arab Emirates) and the Asia Pacific Coatings Conference in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Bangkok (Thailand) and Singapore.

Its multi-lingual staff makes cooperation with you possible in English, Dutch, French and German.
